Member Services-
Big Valley Rancheria’s Member Services Department is dedicated to providing continued support to the Tribal membership. The services offered vary and are listed below;
Enrollment-
Member Services is responsible for the enrollment of Tribal members. Big Valley Rancheria General Membership has closed enrollment. As of 2015, there is no way to be enrolled if you have not completed the process by one (1) year of age. Necessary documents and requirements for enrollment are Birth certificate, social security card, application for enrollment, and must be under one (1) year of age. If one parent of a child requesting enrollment is enrolled in another tribe, we will require proof from that tribe that the child is not enrolled or seeking enrollment with the said tribe.
Higher Education Assistance which consist of the following;
*Honor Roll incentives (6th to 12th grade) - amounts vary from $25-$100 per semester, per child.
*College Scholarships- amounts vary and are dependent on the number of credits/units you are enrolled in, fall and spring classes. Assistance will be on a reimbursement basis only. Receipts are required to process assistance request. Maximum amount is $500. per semester, per member.
*Vocational Training Assistance- we will assist with up to $500. Per vocational training, per member. Upon completion, with license in the vocation, you are eligible to receive a $500. Incentive for completing a vocation.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE ALL THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION, AND APPLICATION FOR SERVICES FOR EACH ASSISTANCE YOU ARE REQUESTING. FAILURE TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION WILL RESULT IN DENIAL OF APPLICATION.

*Burial Assistance- we assist with the submittal for assistance from BIA and from the tribe.
